History of the Paralmypics
Starting in 1948, the Paralmypic Games have been every 4 years, in the same host city as the Olympics. The word Paralympic is from the Greek propstion para meaning parallel to the Olympic games. The two movement exsist side by side
Team USA is Successful in Rio
Team USA wrapped up the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games on September 19, having completed its most successful performances at the Games in recent history. The team of 289 athletes won a total of 115 medals, and finished fourth in the overall medal count.
