Baltimore's Light City

ABOUT Light City

What is "Light City"?

Light City was launched last year in 2016 by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & the Arts. This is a free festival where amazing light installations are set up around Baltimore. Along with the lights, there is music, performances and innovations. The main path of lights is along the Inner Harbor and features over 50 attractions.

The innovation aspect of Light City takes place during the day, where many ideas are generated and discussed.

The first annual Light City brought in over 400,000 people. Light City is one of Baltimore's most beautiful and unique festivals. The stunning lights and exciting performances always bring in a great crowd.

The Light City festival was created to bring art and light together for the enjoyment of people. Baltimore is an awesome city on its own, but with the magnificent light displays, it is absolutely beautiful. Light City is an unreal experience, thus why it brings in many people from all over.
