About Reitz Arena

Opened in 1984, the arena was named for Emily Reitz, who was a longtime athletic director and coach of the basketball and baseball teams.

Reitz Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Baltimore, Maryland.  It's seating capacity is 2,100.  The arena is always extremely crowded and full of school spirit.

Reitz Arena is home to the Loyola Maryland Men's and Women's basketball team, Volleyball, and Cheerleading.

The sports teams spend much time practicing and performing in this arena.

The arena also serves snacks and Chick-Fil-A at all home events.

The arena is connected to the Andrew White Student Center with fully retractable seating on both sidelines.
