Since the rise of COVID-19, many people have been scared to leave their homes to go pick up groceries and household needs. Therefore, people have been utlizing delivery services, like Amazon, to recieve their necessary goods.

Since companies like Amazon have been relied on much more, their delivery times have extended tremendously. Amazon prides itself on their Prime service, which delivers free-two day shipping. They haven't been able to provide this to customers.

Many people are getting very angry because they rely on delivery services like Amazon to recieve their daily and essential household needs. With these services being delayed, it can take weeks to months for goods to come.

When interviewing Monica Zenobio, she disucssed that the hardest thing for her is the unpredictability of when things will arrive. When she orders from websites, she doesn't know if it will arrive in the expected time period or days after.

This is very hard when she orders goods that are necessary to survive, like toilet paper. Without it, she needs to find alternatives which is not easy while so much is closed in the world.

This reliance on delivary services that the whole world has is exactly the same as Monica's. She tries to limit the amount of times she leaves her house and relies on Amazon to deliver her goods instead of needing to go to the store.

Many people are going to start to cancel memberships that they pay for that are supposed to offer quick shipping. They will feel that it is a waste of money to not have guarenteed shipping windows.

Eventually, this will be a huge issue for companies that rely on memberships to survive. They will need to return back to their usual speeds in order to give their customers trust in them again.

One thing that is necessary is for companies, like Amazon, to fix these issues which will allow customers to gain trust and start to use them again.

In big cities, like New York City, customers are put at high risk leaving their house and need to use delivering services to get their goods. Amazon is going to need to figure out how to fix these issues to allow customers better services which will lead to them being at less risk for COVID-19.
