The Music Scene Wouldn't Survive Without You
The Baltimore music scene, or any music scene, would not be what it is without the support of the local communities – both the art communities and the general communities of the city. In inspiring and supporting art, we are inspiring people to create things that mean something to them, and inspiring creativity. By supporting the local music scene in general, we are supporting our local community members in doing something they love and enjoy, and are supporting the start-up of something new. Every band that has ever existed has to start somewhere, and nearly all bands start as someone’s local band, playing small bars and clubs when they could.
