Welcome to the Guardians of the Human Spirit- a project for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights to create a video archive of interviews with past and current civil rights leaders. We use the term “living history” to emphasizes the as the project position on-going and enduring struggle for Civil and Human Right here in the United States and around the world. The project will seek record, archive, and distribute the testimonies of interviewed activists and participants to ensure that this relay for individual freedom and dignity can continue in stride.
The project is a collaboration of Benson Creative, The Center for Civil and Human Rights, Cornerstone Public Relations, and our dedicated sponsors. Together we can not only the hear lessons of unity from activists but highlight the importance for corporate responsibly and public cohesion, key aspects of a successful social justice initiatives. As social inequality and inequity affect all of us and it is because of that we all must do our part in the struggle and strive, trial and triumph for social justice and equal. We will continue to ensure that the lasting legacies of Civil Rights Icons are recorded, shared, and enjoyed as not just their legacy, but our collective story.
