Our Mission is simple
Aspiration by Aaron Douglas 1936. In this work depicts a historical progression from slavery to freedom, and a geographic progression from the agrarian slave or sharecropper labor of the South to the industrial labor of the North.
Our Mission is simple, to bridge the gap between civil rights leaders of the past and social activists today. Our interviewees are Civil Rights Icons that wish to pass down their knowledge and their testimony as to how they accomplished and how those tactics are still relevant today. So far we have been able to interview Civil Rights Icons like Andrew Young, Lonnie King Jr., Benard Layfette, and Shirly Franklin with much more to come.
The content acquired during the interview process will be recorded by Scott Benson of Benson Creative and stored at the Center for Civil and Human Right in Atlanta, Georgia. From there the information will be broadcasted, shared, and enjoyed by any and all the wish to watch, what we believe is a source for a living history and enduring legacy of the Civil Rights Movement.
