The Arizona Cardinals' playoff hopes are officially eliminated from playoff contention with the loss to the Detroit Lions. Cardinals HC Steve Wilks continues to lead a team that can't seem to find ways to win games. Josh Rosen had very little protection but he wasn't really good even when he had time. Their best playmakers Larry Fitzgerald and David Johnson were both ineffective.

One player that stepped up is rookie receiver Trent Sherfield. He had a career day, making the first NFL start of his pro football career. He caught five of seven targets for 77 yards. He will likely remain the starter opposite Fitzgerald for the remainder of the 2018 season.Read more
