Grey’s Anatomy first premiered in 2005 and from the beginning gained a lot of positive attention. It was the first show to gain a large amount of audience attention after Desperate Housewives went off air. The seasons finale of the first seasons was watched by nearly 22 million people. The rest of the seasons continued to follow this success. The show has been nominated for multiple Emmy nominations and awarded a Golden Globe. While their views have fallen within the past few years, the show use to be one of the top 10 shows watched in the United States. Season 12 of Grey’s Anatomy is currently airing on TV every Thursday night at 8, and as of March 4th, 2016, the show has been renewed for another season.
