ShondaLand is now the production company that makes the three hit TV shows: Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away With Murder. Shonda Rhimes is the founder of this company and is also the mastermind behind all three of these shows. A new term called “Thank God It’s Thursday” or #TGIT was coined because all of the following television hits are shown every Thursday from 8pm until 11pm at night.
Two other shows, Off the Map and Private Practice, were also produced by this Rhimes company, however both of these shows are no longer airing on television.
A new show called The Catch will also be produced by ShondaLand and comes to television this spring.
