Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming is known for its geothermal attractions. One of its most famous attractions is the geyser Old Faithful, which got its name due to its predictable erruptions approximately every 60-110 minutes.

Above you see a photograph of the Grand Prismatic, a large hotspring known for its bright colors. These colors are from bacteria that grow in different temperatures. The change in color is due to it getting hotter near the center of the spring.
