McClure Tennis Center
Up until 2015 the Loyola men's tennis team practiced on campus at the courts located on east side near Thea Bowman hall. However in 2014, with the help of a $3.2 donation from the Kuchta family, Loyola Maryland began to build a new tennis facility. On Saturday, April 11, 2015 Loyola dedicated and celebrated the grand opening of the McClure Tennis Center.
The facility features a state of the art eight court complex with lighting and a team building. The tennis center is located on West Cold Spring Lane and is on the same road as the Ridley Athletic Complex where the lacrosse team plays.
The donation of the Kuchta family has gone a long way in helping push the tennis program forward with the tennis center being a main selling point for many recruits. Jordan Kuchta, who graduated from Loyola in 2016, was a strong player for the men's team througout his tenure and holds the record for the most doubles wins in a season. Jordan was able to enjoy the facility in its first year of use.
